Interested in becoming a cat fosterer?

We are looking for more fosters to join our team. We are currently full and we also have a long waiting list of cats who need to come into our care. We need more people willing to open up their homes to cats/ kittens looking for a fresh start in life. When you foster a cat or kitten you'll be helping to free up a space in the rescue so that we can help rescue more cats/kittens who are in desperate need. Fostering is an important role. It helps to play an vital part in the rehabilitation of the cats & kittens and it helps improve their chance of finding a new home. Many cats/kittens who we take in have either suffered or are not used to the care and affection that they deserved. Living with a foster family will help to provide them with a one-to-one care. Which will allow them to build up their confidence and get used to a normal lifestyle. Other cats/kittens in our care unfortunately don't cope well in an rescue environment. This is where we need people to take them in to provide them with a real home, even if it is only on a temporary basis until they find their forever home. Fostering a cat or kitten can be a pleasurable experience. It’s very rewarding to know that you played a key part in the rehoming process when a foster cat/kitten is successfully rehomed. Cat fostering involves providing love, care and all the necessities to ensure they are healthy and happy. The rescue pays for all your foster cats needs and the team are always on hand to answer any questions or queries you may have. If you can help at all please contact the rescue on 01726 852453.
