6/11/18 12pm I went down to see Cayden before his operation so I could spend some time with him and he had lots of fuss and enjoyed his head rubs.
Today is so difficult for me, I am a nervous wreck, poor Cayden has been through so much already I am just hoping and preying he pulls through, so we are able to find him that special forever home.
I’ve heard from our vet, Cayden has survived the operation but he is far from out of the woods, the tail operation went well and they feel that should heal, his diaphragm was severely damaged and all his organs where in his chest they have placed all his organs back and sutured up the ruptured diaphragm.
He will be going over to C Vets for critical care tonight and will return to Rock View in the morning and we will have to take one day at a time and hope he will make a full recovery.
I’m so relieved that he has pulled through and I will go and visit him tomorrow. Please continue to send across positive thoughts for him to make a full recovery. Thank you all for your support through this hard time and thank you for helping Cayden
I’ve just been down to see the bravest little boy I have the pleasure of caring for. I’m so happy that he has been strong enough to get this far. But I have to remember it’s still very early days.
I wanted to say thank you to everyone that sent healing and well wishes to Cayden, here he is just 2 hours post op. ❤️❤️
