Here at Clay County Cat Care we do NOT rehome over Christmas our doors will be closed for homing from the 19th December and won't be open again for re homing until 3rd January.

Christmas is a very loud busy time and not at all suitable for settling cats and kittens in to their new homes. They need time to adjust and not to be terrified.

We will still be organising home checks and taking in emergencies, we will still be open for visitors and taking calls from the general public apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day as I am a Mum with a young family to take care and celebrate Christmas too.

We still have many cats looking for their forever homes before the 19th, all of our rescue cats deserve to have a home to enjoy Christmas and have a family to cuddle up with. Please call the rescue if you would like to offer one of our cats a forever home on 01726 852453.

We are also looking for Christmas fosterers that can offer a family environment over the festive time to one or two of our rescue cats, when you are enjoying the celebrations of Christmas many cats will be in rescue and we would love to find a temporary Xmas foster for them. All cats that are with us over Xmas will be spoilt and like last year will have a turkey on Christmas Day and their presents to open an enjoy. Please call me to discuss further if you can help.
