Clay County Cat Care is 5 Years Old

Throughout January 2018

January 2018 is our 5th Birthday and a milestone that we have achieved through lots of blood, sweat and many tears. 5 years ago i was asked if i wanted to set up my own rescue after working in many other rescues and seeing many cats being turned away through lack of space. When i set up Clay County Cat Care i could not even envision the amount of cats and kittens we have helped so far. I would like to thank the amazing people that have come and gone or stayed that have made the rescue what it is today, without all of your help we wouldn't be here, i would also like to thank all you amazing supporters that have helped us when we needed help to save a cat or parcels of food, you have all also played your part in keeping our rescue open.

We are celebrating our 5th Birthday by asking our supporters to donate just £5.00 throughout January, we understand that January is a tight month for all after the Christmas period, in 2018 we are aiming to help more of the cats and kittens in the Southwest and we need your help to do this. You can donate via our Donation Page. If you would like to do a bank transfer please contact one of our admin team or send us a message via our contact page. THANK YOU from all the team at CCCC.

Volunteers Needed

On Going

We are in need of more volunteers to help socialise the cats/kittens in our care and to  also help us at the rescue cleaning.

Have you got a spare couple of hours a week and would like to help? Please contact us if your able to help.

New Rescue Location

On Going

Dear all,
we are very excited to let you all know that we have been offered a new site for our rescue within the Clay Villages. Our move to the new location will take place during 2019,

If you are able to offer any help over the coming months, by giving your time, expertise or providing materials, we would be extremely grateful. Please send us a message or contact Leanne on 01726 852 453.

The existing rescue will remain open and fully operational throughout this time, but please bear with us as we will be extremely busy.

Thank you for your continued support.

National Microchipping Month

Throughout June 2018

With June being National Microchipping Month, Clay County Cat Care want to be able to offer our service at a reduced price! This is to enable us to help owners chip their beloved animals, so if they ever go missing, they can be reunited ASAP.
Throughout June we only will be charging £7.00 to chip your pet. We are certified to chip cats, dogs, rabbits, & ferrets. Please contact us on 01726 852453 to book an appointment.
Don't let your pet be the one that is brought in to a rescue centre, who then has to be rehomed because they are unable to be reunited with you. Or, taken to a vets after an accident and you never know what has happened to them.
Book today to avoid missing this great offer!

Urgent Fosterers Needed

On Going

We are in need of emergency foster homes, we have received a large number of calls about cats that are in need of our help.

We are currently at capacity at the rescue and we are looking for people that would be happy to foster a rescue cat on a short term basis.

CCCC will cover all routine treatment and vets treatment all we ask is that your happy to pay for food and litter. (Unless the foster cat is on a special veterinary food and CCCC will buy this).

Leanne has received so many calls and emails about cats requiring our help for many different reasons.

Please contact us if your able to help.

Purchase A Catnip Toy

On Going

My name is Willow, i was adopted in 2014.  Willow and Friends was created to help the cats and kittens in the rescues care. What a great way of treating your own babies with a catnip toy while also raising funds for the rescue at the same time. The toys have been quality control tested through out by myself and my brothers and sisters, making sure they are all up to our standards. The toys aren't perfect but they are absolutely great for practising your bunny kicks. I hope you will enjoy the toys as much as i do. Currently the catnip toys are only available online.

Willow xx
