At Clay County Cat Care, we operate a strict home check-approved adoption policy. In line with ensuring animal welfare, we perform home check interviews with all potential adoptive homes.

We ask for the following donation for adoptions:

  • £80 for adult cats

  • £90 for kittens

Your donation upon adoption will help pay for some of the costs of neutering, microchipping, vaccinating, worm/flea treatment, and veterinary check for the adopted cat or kitten.

The normal veterinary cost of chipping, vaccination, spay/neutering, and treatment in Cornwall is often well in excess of £100, thus our donation requirement ensures our animals have the best possible start at a reduced cost to the owners.

For the entire list of adoption terms and conditions, please contact the rescue by phone or email.

Clay County Cat Care's adoption policy

Jasper

Jasper

Beautiful Jasper is a 3-5 year old male. He is extremely loving but can be very unpredictable if he has had enough fuss, for this reason we will not be able to home him around children under the age of 12 or vulnerable people. He is our gentle giant 90% of the time. He loves the outside so he will need a safe area. A rural setting will be perfect for him. He is fleaed, wormed, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

Diego

Diego

Beautiful Diego is a 5 year old male. He was one of the rescues handrears who has come back into the rescue under no fault of his own. He will need a safe outdoor space as he loves to be outside but loves to cuddle up, a family home would suit him. He is fleaed, wormed, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

Indi

Indi

Meet Indi she is a 4 year old TICA registered Bengal who is fleaed, wormed, spayed, Microchipped and vaccinated. Indi came in to us at no fault of her own she, is just a strong willed Bengal that needs to be an only cat and with someone who has had Bengals before as they are a breed that like a lifestyle a certain way. She would be better off with a family with children over the age of 8 and no other cats in the household.
